MATT Engineering is a privately owned business, founded in February 2024 by Matthew Thurston. With over 30 years’ experience in the building services industry, Matthew’s career began in contracting before he progressed to an executive level with several leading consultancy firms.
Leading by example with a holistic and collaborative style, Matthew can manage all aspects of the project cycle with a full understanding of stakeholder value and environmental benchmarks and requirements. This is a crucial moment for both our industry and society, and minimising the effect of our system design whilst challenging and meeting a client’s brief is imperative.
Matthew has worked with the UK’s leading developers, tenants, architects, professional teams and contractors on significant projects including Citibank Canary Wharf, PWC HQ, More London, 100 Liverpool St, The Atlas Building and more recently, The Whiteley at Bayswater.
